Primary Swimming gala

Posted: 27th January 2016
On the 19th January a Swimming Gala was held at Ilfracombe pool for the Braunton Learning Community Primary Schools. It was a fantastic event and the atmosphere was brilliant with children cheering each other on right to the finish line whether they were first or last. It was a really enjoyable day for  participants and spectators alike, especially for those from Caen School, the overall winner.

Mention must be made of year 11 pupil and Drama Club stalwart, Alfred Alexander, who played a fantastic dame, sporting several crazy costumes and wigs, and received a very favourable response from the audience on both show nights.
